Based an hour out of Sydney, in the beautiful Hawkesbury district Windsor Polo Club provides a complete teaching solution to the game of polo through our ground breaking coaching programs together with a string of experienced and professional polo ponies. Our introduction to polo clinics are the best way to kick off your polo career.
Discover Polo Days
Curious about polo? This is your chance to give it a go in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Discover Polo Days are a 90-minute experience that breaks the sport down into simple, enjoyable pieces – from learning basic hitting techniques to understanding how the game actually works.
You’ll start off-horse using wooden horses, get hands-on with mallets, meet the polo ponies, and finish with a riding experience that ties everything together. Add in a laid-back cheese platter and great company, and it’s an easy, fun way to spend a morning at Windsor Polo Club.

Polo Lessons
Whether you're looking to build confidence in the saddle, improve your riding, or take your first steps into the world of polo, Windsor Polo Club is home to a range of experienced local coaches and lesson providers.
Private and group lessons are available through independent coaches based at the club, offering instruction for all levels — from riders completely new to polo through to those wanting to develop their game further. Coaches and providers can be found via the Windsor Polo Club classifieds page below.
To participate in lessons at Windsor Polo Club through outside providers, riders are required to hold a current club membership. Weekly memberships are available from $400 plus NSWPA insurance, providing access to the club grounds and facilities.

Beginner Polo Clinic
Step into the world of polo with Windsor Polo Club’s Beginner Polo Clinic.
Held over two days it's a fun, hands-on introduction for riders looking to try something new. Led by professional coaches, you’ll learn the fundamentals of riding, stickwork, and game play in a supportive, social setting. Mornings focus on core skills, while afternoons bring it all together in guided chukkas.
Every participant is paired with their own safe, well-trained polo horse, fully tacked with all necessary polo equipment. Simply bring your own riding attire, including helmet and boots.
Some prior riding experience (not polo) is recommended, and with a maximum of five participants per coach, each rider receives personalised instruction and support.
