Windsor Polo Club (WPC) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EoI) from suitably qualified and experienced parties interested in establishing and operating a Polo Academy at Windsor Polo Club.
Background & Objective
Windsor Polo Club is a leading community-based polo club with a strong focus on participation, player development, and the long-term sustainability of the sport.
Located in the picturesque Hawkesbury Valley, Windsor Polo Club is positioned approximately one hour from the Sydney CBD and just 30 minutes from the new Western Sydney Airport. The Club boasts two high-quality playing fields, along with a dedicated chukka and exercise field, supporting a broad range of polo activities. Facilities include 60-day yards, four small paddocks, and a welcoming clubhouse. As a community-focused club run by a passionate volunteer committee, Windsor Polo Club is deeply committed to the growth and sustainability of the sport. It is proudly the home of the NSWPA high goal finals, with main playing seasons running from March to May (Autumn) and September to November (Spring). There is also strong year-round activity, with young horse chukkas and training opportunities often continuing through winter, creating an ideal environment for a Polo Academy to operate and grow across all seasons.
As part of its strategic vision, WPC is seeking to establish a dedicated Polo Academy to:
· Introduce new players to the sport of polo
· Provide structured coaching and development pathways
· Increase participation at club level
· Support long-term player progression into club and tournament polo
Scope of Opportunity
The successful party will be expected to:
· Deliver a structured Polo Academy program focused on beginner andearly-stage players
· Conduct coaching sessions and introductory clinics
· Facilitate Academy Chukkas at least twice per week
· Contribute to the growth and engagement of the Windsor Polo Clubcommunity
· Engage new markets for polo participants
· Encourage new members to Windsor Polo Club
The Polo Academy is intended to become a key pillar of the club’s playerdevelopment pathway and overall activity calendar.
Proposed Commencement
The targeted commencement date for the Polo Academy is September 2026, aligning with the start of the NSW polo season.
EoI Process
This Expression of Interest stage is intended to identify capable and interested operators.
· At this stage, no detailed submission is requiredParties need only formally express their interest in participating in the process
· Following the close of the EoI period on Tues 19th May :
· Windsor Polo Club will engage with interested parties to refine the scope and commercial framework.
· This consultation period will end on Mon 15th June.
· A formal Request for Tender (RFT) process will then all interested parties tendering on the same set of terms.
· The tender process will open on Tues 16th June and close on Tues 7th July.
Full details of the process, evaluation criteria, and timelines will be provided to respondents at the conclusion of the EoI period.
